Mindlab's business coaching practice is underpinned by key principles:

- Learning and change occur through the relationship with a coach. Coaching is not just an interaction; it is sharing knowledge, values, attitudes, skills and experience. Coaching is about connection, a partnership that will lead to a positive change;

- The context is work: we help the client improve their work performance in the short and long term issues as they are often interrelated

- The client set the agenda and is resourceful: we work with the client to help them figure out what they want. Once the agenda is clear, our task is to support the client to identify and use the resources that will enable them to change and develop.

- The Coach facilitates the learning process by identifying new awarnesses, capabilities, insights, skills, ideas and knowledge.

- The outcome is change: our work is to help the client achieve something that makes a positive difference in their career. The change is measured by the client's agenda and their goals. We understand that coaching may provoke resistance which we use to help the client clarify their inner drives and goals.

- The framework for the change process provides movement and a map for the journey. It releases potential and releases results

Our approach is positive and pragmatic. The methodology is based on finding what work and doing more of it. We encourage a solution driven approach in which we explore possibilities, identify the action within the interactions and proceed by small steps that will make the difference for the client's individual and organizational performance
